A. What is Pramuun?

Pramuun.com is a new and exciting auction concept, that lets users win some of the best bargain deals online! We auction away brand new, top-name, high quality products at only a fraction of their retail cost. We can do this by charging users a small fee for each bid placed, just Thb 5.00-30.00 Thb depending on the size of the Bid Pack you purchase, to support our crazy bargain prices. You will find completely ridiculous prices in all of our auctions that start at just Thb 0.01 with no reserve. Take a look at the items we are currently auctioning, and if there is one you want, why not buy some bids and start bidding?

How does it work?

With each bid placed, the price of the item increases by 1 satang. When a bid is placed, like in the real live auctions the auctioneer starts looking for new bidders, we also reset the counter back up to the auction's bidding time (usually from 45 seconds to 4 minutes), to give other users a chance of placing another bid during the time to beat your placed bid. If no-one else places a higher bid than yours, and the counter reaches zero, congratulations!

How can I take part?

1. Register an account for free!
2. Remember to Activate your account by clicking the activation link we sent to your e-mail, check your Junk mail folder if it does not appear. Registration email is usually sent out within 5-10 minutes!
3. Login.
4. Find a product that you like to bid on.
5. BID - by trying out with your complimentary Free bids. Buy more bids if you enjoy it!
6. If you WON a bidding! Pay for the ridiculous low price and wait a day or few for it to appear on your doorstep.

Bidding

To place a bid just click on the "Bid" button! It's as simple as that! This makes you the highest bidder and resets the counter of the auction's bidding time. If the timer runs out before anyone else places a bid, you win the auction!

Try bidding for free!

Initially you can try bidding for free as each of our new users gets 3 free bids as they sign up! In addition, you can refer your friends by our easy-to-use referral tools to sign up on our site to get up to 5 free bids per referred friend!

Bidding with the Bid Butler

We think that watching the auction as your bids come in is part of the fun, but we also know that sometimes you need to drag yourself away from your computer. That's when the Bid Butler comes in handy. Just tell the Bid Butler how many bids you want it to automatically place on behalf of you and it'll take care of the rest.

If no one else has bid on the auction, the Bid Butler will place a bid for you within the final seconds of the auction at a random time to make his bidding patterns very unpredictable. The countdown then resets, as it would for a normal bid, allowing other bidders to bid again if they want to. If no one places a higher bid after yours, you win the auction! After you've won the auction the bids that the Bid Butler didn't use are credited back to your Pramuun account.

Different auction types

Day Auctions (normal auctions)
Our day auctions run from 3PM until midnight central time. The day auctions are paused for the night if the auction hasn’t ended by 12AM. When a day auction is paused, it is still possible to place bids, but the auction timer remains paused until 3PM.

24/7 Auctions
24/7 auctions are open all day and night and they’re never paused!

Nail Biter Auctions
Our crazy Nail Biter Auctions have a bidding time of no more than 10-30 seconds! These ultra fast paced, super exciting auctions are not for the weak-hearted! Bid Butlers are not allowed to be used to keep the biddings even more exciting.

100% Off
Sometimes you can find auctions that are 100% off. That means that you do not pay one singe satang if you have the winning bid.

All shipping is 100% FREE at Pramuun.com!

Shipping times may vary depending on your location. Remember that some auction items are services and only available to be redeemed on specific location.

Payments

You can pay for your won items and Bid Packs by credit, debit card or via PayPal. We accept all Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discovery credit cards, Visa debit cards including Visa Electron and Maestro debit cards.

We use PayPal to securely process all of our credit/debit card transactions. Most Thai banks issue a virtual/online credit card that you can connect to a Paypal account to be 100% safe.

Minimum system requirements
You can take part in Pramuun.com auctions with nearly all PCs that allow you to access the internet:

Charity

Here at Pramuun, we take charity seriously.

That is why we donate a 10% of the final sales price to charity of the winner's choosing. This means that if a user wins a bargain for Thb 10.43, then that Thb 1.43 will be donated to a charity of the users choice.

We support charities such as Red Cross, Save The Children, and more. To view the complete list of the charities we regularly donate money to, please visit The Pramuun Charity Program page. If you not see the charity that you want your money to go to then please let us know about it.

Availability

At the moment we are only offering the service in Thailand.

Is Pramuun a real auction?

Yes.

Pramuun is indeed an auction and not very different from other auction sites, as we only allow users to place a higher bid that is just one satang over that of the previous highest bidder. In order to prevent users from simply bidding thousands of times, thus quickly increasing our prices to that of normal auction sites, we charge a small fee for each bid placed. By charging this fee, we are also able to provide our users with the best prices to be found anywhere! Our goal is to be able to provide our auction winners with the best bargain deals on the internet!

Is this legal?

Yes, Pramuun follows all government legislation, and organizing auctions of this type is perfectly legal. We are a young and enthusiastic team who are open about everything and we are more than happy to answer any questions you may have.

We charge our members a service fee for every bid placed to cover the costs of running the website, providing the bargains and shipping out them to their doors. This allows us to provide an advertisement free platform and we never sell or rent any personal information about our customers to any third party.

Pramuun.com is not a lottery, nor is there any element of chance to the bidding process. If there is no bidder that is ready to pay a higher price than the current bid for an item, the item is won by the current highest bidder.

By only letting each bid be 1 satang higher than the last bid, and charging users a small fee for using the site to bid, we are able to keep the prices on our items so extremely low and keep auction snipers and price pushers from spoiling you from great deals!

"LAST MAN STANDING" - If you really want an item in the auction, then you bid and the last bidder becomes the winner!

Troubleshooting

I've just won an auction! What now?

Firstly, congratulations - well done on winning the auction! You will be sent an automated e-mail with instructions on how to process the payment through our website. Remember, 100% of the price will go to the charity organization of your choice!

Please make sure that you pay within 7 days of the end of the auction. We’ll confirm your payment via e-mail and arrange for the item to be shipped to you. If the item hasn’t arrived within 30 days after you have submitted the payment, please contact us.

I can't place a bid / the site is running really slow / the counters aren't moving!

Don't download or stream any large files while bidding. Also, make sure there are no other computers in your network using your bandwidth and remember that we recommend to close all other network applications than your internet browser to avoid connection problems while you're bidding on Pramuun.com. We recommend that you bid atleast 5 seconds before the timer reaches zero.

How do I change my password?

Please log onto Pramuun.com, then go to "My Pramuun > Details" and select the option "Change password".

I've forgot my password or user name!

Click on the "Help" option. Select the link "Forgot password?" in the self help box. We'll send you an email with your password. Due to security reasons we highly recommend that you change your password after this.
